Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of I-CO's website, desktop application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by I-CO ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

I-Co is a desktop application that provides a discreet, real-time overlay for screen and audio analysis during calls and interviews. Core functionality relies on an AI provider that you connect yourself ("Bring Your Own AI") — either a free-tier API key from a supported provider (currently Groq or Gemini), or a locally running model via Ollama. We do not provide or bundle a hosted AI subscription.

The Service is currently available for Windows 10/11. macOS support is planned; Linux is not currently supported.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may sign in with either your email/password or a chosen username. Usernames are unique and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The desktop application enforces a single active device per account at a time. Signing in on a new device signs the previous device out automatically. Signing into the website does not count as a device login.

3. Purchases & Lifetime Access

I-Co is offered on a one-time payment basis — currently ₹499 for payments made via Razorpay (India) or $5.99 USD via PayPal (international customers). There is no recurring subscription or automatic renewal. A successful, verified payment grants lifetime access to the paid features of the Service for the account used to make the purchase, subject to these Terms.

"Lifetime access" means access for as long as I-Co continues to be offered as a commercial product, to the paid features of the Service that exist at the time of your purchase and any subsequent updates or bug fixes we release to those features.

Lifetime access does not include or guarantee:

• Access to new paid tiers, plans, or successor products we may release in the future, even if they share the I-Co name or brand
• Continued compatibility with future versions of Windows, macOS, or any operating system, or with any specific hardware
• Continued compatibility with any third-party AI provider (Groq, Gemini, Ollama, or others) if that provider changes, restricts, or discontinues its own API or service
• Major feature rewrites, redesigns, or paid add-ons released after your purchase, unless we choose to include them at no extra cost
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that the Service will remain undetectable against future detection methods (see Section 9, Disclaimers)
• A specific level of ongoing customer support beyond what's reasonable for a one-time-purchase product

Lifetime access is granted to the specific account used to make the purchase and is non-transferable, except at our discretion (for example, if you lose access to your original email and can verify your purchase). It remains subject to the single-device login limits described in Section 2, and to suspension or termination under Section 7.

If I-Co is ever discontinued, shut down, or becomes unable to deliver the Service, the treatment of already-purchased lifetime access is governed by Section 6 (Service Disruption, Legal Shutdown & Force Majeure) of our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Prices are subject to change for future purchasers; changes do not affect access already granted to existing paying users.

Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Free Trial

Eligible accounts may activate a single, one-time free trial of a limited duration (as shown in your dashboard at the time). Each account is entitled to one free trial only.

5. Bring Your Own AI

You are solely responsible for obtaining, configuring, and complying with the terms of any third-party AI provider you connect to I-Co (including Groq, Gemini, or a self-hosted Ollama model). We are not a party to your relationship with those providers and are not responsible for their availability, pricing, output quality, or policies. Usage limits, rate limits, and any costs associated with your chosen provider are between you and that provider.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Use the Service to violate the terms of service, honor codes, or policies of any third-party platform, employer, educational institution, or examination body.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security or licensing mechanism of the Service.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account or license to any third party.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any person.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of I-Co complies with any rules governing the calls, interviews, exams, or other contexts in which you use it. We provide the Service "as is" and do not guarantee that any particular use case is permitted under third-party rules.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity (including payment fraud or chargebacks), or misused the Service. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support.icoapp@gmail.com.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by I-CO and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing lifetime access grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal use — it does not transfer ownership of any underlying intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or undetectable in every circumstance, including against future detection methods we cannot anticipate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I-CO and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service — including any consequences arising from a third party detecting or objecting to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
